Criminology

Criminology can be defined as the “scientific study of crime, criminals, criminal behavior, and corrections.” A degree in the field of Criminology will often lead to a career in law enforcement, prosecution, crime prevention, victim assistance, court administration, trial processes, or public safety. Although the United States is the leader in technology and provides “the American dream”, many have taken advantage of the provided freedom.  Consequently, the need for more criminologists is increasing, and is expected to continue to increase in the years to come.  The first step in obtaining a successful career in one of these fields is to gain a degree in criminology.
